Our mission
App testing should be for everyone
We believe an indie developer deserves the same honest, real-world feedback that big studios pay thousands for. So we built a place where anyone can get it — for free.
Why we exist
Getting an app in front of real users used to mean an enterprise QA contract, a paid tester panel, or begging friends for feedback. Real usability testing — humans, real devices, honest answers — sat behind a price tag most indie developers simply cannot justify.
Mystery Customer Insight removes that barrier. A developer submits an app with a short scenario and a few questions; human testers run it on their own phones and tablets and report back what actually happened. No subscriptions, no hidden fees, no gatekeeping.
The platform is operated by the non-profit NGO “POGOVORIMO”. We are not here to sell testing seats — we are here to make honest product feedback a public good for the people who build software on their own.
What we stand for
Free, and staying that way
No subscriptions, no per-tester fees, no paywalled reports. Submitting an app and reading the results costs nothing — that is the whole point.
Real people, real devices
Every test is run by a human on their own phone or tablet — not bots, not emulators, not synthetic scripts. You get honest reactions from actual users.
Built for indies
Solo founders and small teams rarely have a QA lab or budget for a paid testing panel. We level that field so a one-person app can be tested like a funded one.
A community, not a vendor
Testers try new apps and their feedback genuinely shapes what ships. Developers and testers help each other — the platform just connects them.
Free alternative to paid user testing platforms
If you are comparing us with UserTesting, TryMyUI, Userfeel, Testapic, Userbrain or Maze, here is the difference in plain terms. These are differences of model, not claims about quality.
| Paid user testing platforms | Mystery Customer Insight | |
|---|---|---|
| Model | A paid testing panel on a subscription or per-test plan | A free platform run by a non-profit NGO |
| Price | Subscriptions, per-tester fees, or paywalled reports | Free — no subscriptions, no per-tester fees |
| Who tests | A paid, recruited testing panel or commercial testing panels | Real people running your app on their own devices |
| Who operates it | A commercial company | The non-profit NGO “POGOVORIMO” (EDRPOU 44818137) |
| Report access | Results kept behind a paywall | Read every report for free |
